Birthday Princess!

Our baby girl is 4!  We partied hard with lots of pink, sparkles, sweet treats, crowns, and of course princesses! Once again, she was spoiled rotten, but I am okay with that! After all, us girls need to stick together! She definitely rules the roost around here! She had a special day with treats at school and her choice of dinner was Rookies for chicken fingers and french fries. Somehow she conned us into sprinkle pancakes at Perkins the next morning to celebrate too! I like her style!

Sharing princess cupcakes with her friends at preschool! Check out the great princess crown her teacher Ms. Sara made for her!

We had a small party on Sunday evening full of presents! You can see a theme here..pink and princesses, it makes it easy to shop for her!

We decided to get her another bike this year! She rode the bike we got her last year so much it had almost completely fallen apart! This one is complete with princess carrier in the front!

Our very special neighbor Elizabeth has always made my kids cakes and they are to die for! She quit her cake business last year but came out of retirement to produce this awesome cake for Claire. It was so pretty I didn't want to cut into it!

Claire has been asking for quite awhile to get her ears pierced. I kept putting her off, telling her maybe when she turns 4 we can. I figured she would forget about it. Well, she didn't! Jeremy and I debated about this, but knew she would just keep asking...she can be VERY persistent! So, I took her a couple of days before her birthday and tried to talk her out of it. It will hurt, you have to wear the same earrings for a long time, yadda, yadda, yadda. Secretly I knew I would be the one taking care of them and I just didn't want to add another responsibility to my plate. Anyway, the brave girl went through with it! They did them at the same time and she sat there for at least 5 seconds after they did it staring at my before she started to cry! It was quickly over when they presented a sucker and princess sticker!

Can't believe she is 4! Also so sad your neighbor is not making cakes anymore! My wedding cake was the best cake I have ever had! We were trying to think of a way for her to mail us a cake for Baby Boy's big arrival! :-)
