Case's year in review!

All about me!
1. I was born October 10, 2011( two days late!) at 3:14 am. I weighed 9 lbs 2 oz and was 21 inches long. As with my older siblings I had a natural birth in a hurried fashion! I had long skinny legs, strawberry blond hair and a loud cry!
2. Today I weigh 22 lbs 6 oz (68th percentile) and am 31 inches long (89th percentile) and my nogin is 19 inches (95th percentile)
3. I am a great sleeper! 3 hour nap, 10-12 hours at night.
4. I love all food, you name it, I'll eat it! Although, dairy is still not my friend!
5. My favorite things to play with are balls, Claire's dollhouse, anything in the pantry, lazy susan, and tupperware cupboard. I have been known to play in the toilet, and eat dog food. I also love the TV remote, unrolling a roll of toilet paper, and splashing in the dog bowl. I am great at finding microscopic things on the floor and tasting them.
6. I love my paci.
7. I am taking 4-5 steps at a time but still prefer to crawl.
8. I have the best laugh ever!
9. I took the record at the Dr's office for having the most teeth as a one year old...15!
10. My nickname is Stinky!
11. I continue to be an identical twin to my 7 year old brother!
12. I have limited vocabulary of "ball" and " ma ma"
13. I love to crawl up on mom's lap for a good snuggle. She likes rocking me to sleep, even though I don't need it!
14. I give the best slobbery open mouth kisses!

Birthday boy!

Case is one! Not sure where the past year has went! We celebrated with a party in his honor with our family and friends on Sunday. Although he needed nothing (3rd child syndrome) he was blessed with many great gifts, cards and well wishes!

Balls seemed to be the theme! He got a cool ball pit/tent, some great sensory balls and a singing soccer ball. He also got some new duds, some new books and a couple of new toys!

Yet again, our rock star neighbor Elizabeth wowed us all with another amazing sugary creation. She is simply the best! Although she isn't in the cake business anymore she always finds time for my kids birthday's and I love her for it. The best part is it is always a surprise what she'll come up with because I give her no direction (not a creative bone in my body) I always hate cutting the cake because I don't want to ruin it's beauty!

Cupcakes...just in case we didn't have enough cake!
And a smash cake all for Case!
Hmm..let me feel this first to be sure it is okay!

Like this? Yummy!

Happy 1st birthday stinky! We love you!

First haircut!

Case had his first haircut last week! He has been blessed(?) with the fine stick straight hair his siblings and daddy have. It was starting to look a tad too much like a mullet so our hairdresser Cheryl gave him his first do! He did pretty good sitting still once bribed with a sucker!

Much better! So handsome!

Center Grove Orchard X 2

The kids and I have been soaking up the nice weather on Wednesday's and have hit up our favorite fall spot, Center Grove Orchard. The first trip, our dear old neighbor ( not old as in age, as in used to be our neighbor) ha ha, Darla joined us for the day and to help out with Claire and Case. I think she had just as much fun as they did!

Claire was a hoot on the big slide, SCREAMING the entire way down as LOUD as she could!

Case checking out the corn pit for the first time. He wasn't so sure at first, but   quickly got use to it and really loved it so much I was finding corn in all of his crevices that night!

These two billy goats were hilarious! They were in this stand off for at least the 20 minutes we were near them. I had dibs on the big one with the beard. Not sure who ended up budging!

Claire the cowgirl?
Carter caught word that we went to the orchard without him and of course was upset. Darn school gets in the way of all his fun. So, we headed back the next Wednesday after early out so he could play too. It was also Case's birthday that day so he got some extra attention from the kids telling everyone it was their brother's 1st birthday!

Enjoying one of the best caramel apples around!

Even though Center Grove Orchard has a pumpkin patch, we never get any because we have our own home grown pumpkins straight from Grandpa and Grandma's farm! Check out some of pumpkins the kids grew this year!
