The official start to summer!

Summer is here! Carter's last day of school was last Thursday with the school celebrating with a field day.

Carter and Ms Winter

Field day fun!

First day of second grade

  Last day of second grade!

Thursday also marked a big day for Claire! She graduated preschool from Kid's Company! They had a super cute ceremony and she proudly wore her graduation cap until bed that night! Off to kindergarten next year! Sniff sniff!

Getting her diploma!
We came directly from dance recital rehearsal hence the clown makeup!
Claire and her teacher Ms. Amber.
Saturday night was another big event for Claire! Dance recital! Months of practice, hours of makeup and hair do's (because mom stinks at making buns and applying makeup) for her 2 minutes of stardom! It was all worth it to see the smile on her face when she was dancing! So cute!

And last but not least, you know it is summer time when it is warm enough for the sprinkler!

We've made our summer bucket list and posted it on the wall, so hopefully we can through most of it! Happy Summer!

Hey batter batter!

Baseball season is in full swing! The Cobras are 12-12 so far this season just coming home from a tough tournament in Omaha last weekend to turn around and play again Monday night.  They played the number #1 team in Nebraska last weekend and were the only team to score against them, and the only team who didn't get 10 runned by them, losing 4-2. Monday night they rallied a 6 run deficit to beat a team they previously lost to 10-0. Pretty impressive! Carter has had to do quite a bit of pitching and hasn't done too bad for the most part! He throws pretty hard, still working on the control! I am a nervous mess when he is on the mound!

Third place finish at Slugfest!

Photo bomb!

Claire and Case get towed to all these games, Claire finds some girls to play with on the playground and the older kids all love Case and are so good to play ball with him. He brings his glove, bat and wiffle balls with him to every game and asks random kids, " You wanna play ball?" it is pretty irresistible!
He does evidently wear out! After spending a whole weekend at the ball field, he was ready to leave. Near the end of the last game last Sunday, he grabs his stuff and says, " I'm going home" and starts to walk to the car.
