Fall Fun, Pumpkin Palooza, Halloween Hoopla

My favorite time of the year! The kids and I found a super warm day to head up to our favorite orchard, Center Grove in Cambridge. It never disappoints!

 Jumping pillow!
 Corn pit!

Caramel apples!

Apple cider donuts!
Three little pigs stick house!

Giant slide!

 Pedal tractor!

The kids talked me into the corn maze. 2 hours and 3 grouchy kids (and mom too) later we exited with a group of new friends who were just as lost as we were!

The best pumpkin patch ever! The fruits of the kids labor (mostly grandma and grandpa) were finally ready! We came home with a carload of all kinds of pumpkins and gourds! Not sure who gets more excited about this, the kids or grandma and grandpa?

I think our days of carving pumpkins are over and I am not the least bit sad about this! The kids can really do most of the painting themselves and the clean up is a no brainer! Plus, we are still enjoying them well into November! Carter did a great job with this giant eyeball!
Case and his superman pumpkin and a green one he painted to keep him entertained while the paint dried on his other one!
Creative Claire opted for glitter and a bow of course and Waukee Warriors colors!
She also came up with these cute little spiders even though she is terrified of spiders!

Lastly, Halloween! I was able to take the little two to Hyvee for their annual Halloween party. They got a chance to wear their costumes another time, gather candy, paint a pumpkin, decorate a cookie and feel some creepy crawling things!

We visited our old neighborhood to trick or treat again this year. It's always fun to see our old friends and catch up a little!

Carter and his best buds Hunter and Duke!
