We had a really nice Christmas this year. It was our first big event being a family of 5 and it went off without a hitch! It was especially nice that both Jeremy and I were home the entire Christmas break so it was great to spend some family time together. Christmas eve we attended an amazing service at church, although, as you can see by Case's mood before we went, I ended up spending most of the service in the hall with him :(
After church, we had our traditional Christmas eve dinner, complete with appetizers, prime rib, crab legs, rolls, crock pot corn, a little wine and some birthday cake.
After dinner the kids got to open their gifts from each other. Carter got a new scooter, new slippers, Husker football gear and a star wars remote control jet fighter.
Santa came during the night and brought Case a Bumbo. How cute is he? He also got some new bath toys, and some cute clothes.
Claire got some accessories for her dollhouse, a pink computer, lots of princesses, coloring books, games, and some new dress up clothes.
After the kids opened their Santa gift and dumped out their stockings, we headed west to Griswold to have brunch with Grandma Freeman, then to Cumberland to Grandma and Grandpa Berry's for dinner. Lots of good food to fill our bellies!
The annual family Christmas picture!
All this Christmas has wore me out!
We decided to take the kids to a water park over break for some fun and gave the Washerbahn water park at the Amana Colonies a try. It was the perfect size for the kids and despite the COLD water we had a blast (luckily I didn't have to get in :)

I'm glad you guys got so much family time for Christmas! Christmas was so fun this year, the kids were all so excited! Isn't that the worst when you get cold water? Really swimming pools should never have cold water - especialy indoor pools during the middle of winter!
