Yes it is true, our sweet boy has turned 6. Six years ago today our lives changed forever with the arrival of this sweet baby boy. He has been a pure joy and true blessing to us ever since. We are so proud of the little man he has turned into. He is such a great friend to everyone, protector of Claire, helper of anything you ask of him, and has the kindest heart of anyone I know. He still holds my hand when we go somewhere and even thanks me every night for making him supper. Isn't he a handsome young man?
Carter invited 5 friends, plus his sister to Warrior Lanes for a bowling party. The kids had a blast, enjoyed some pizza and Carter was showered with lots of gifts!
Claire was super funny at the bowling alley, always cracking us up. She would push the ball down the lane then put her hands on her knees and talk to the ball as it SLOWLY rolled away. She would clap her hands and yell, "I did it!" every time, no matter how many pins she hit!
The whole bowling gang! Notice the girls outnumber the boys? He is quite the ladies man!
Carter's birthday was on a Monday this year, so now that he is in school, we had to celebrate a little differently. Usually we let him eat his way through the day with whatever he chooses, this year we had to cut back and only splurged on supper at his favorite establishment, McDonalds. He did take ice cream sandwiches to school to share as his birthday snack.
Lastly, I started interviewing the kids on their birthdays, something I wish I would have started years ago. Here is what my new 6 year old came up with for answers!

Happy Birthday Carter..I bet the new house answer is so he doesn't have to share his room with claire. That is so cool with interviewing. I might have to start doing that with Logan and Jillian.
Yay for Carter! Sam and I looked at this post together and Sam LOVED the light saber cake, and the bowling party! He begged and pleaded to go and visit Iowa! We love you Carter, and think that you are pretty special. We hope you had a happy birthday, we were thinking of you.
