IOWA STATE FAIR TIME! WOOT WOOT! Okay Jeremy would give me a funny look over my excitement for the fair. He just doesn't know what he is missing out on! I can't say I am a fair fanatic and can't see myself going everyday like some people, but it is just something you have to do living in Iowa! Carter and I along with my sister Darcie and Jill knocked the fair out yesterday. We spent an entire day there, sun up to sundown. We stuffed ourselves silly...luckily there were 4 of us, so we got to sample more food, including warm fresh donut holes, Barksdale chocolate chip cookies, corn dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, pineapple whips, milk shakes from the dairy barn, fried snickers on a stick ( my personal favorite) and cheese curds AND it was worth every calorie! I love good bad food!! Here are the highlights of the day:

Ohhh...(I'm wiping tears from my eyes) we love the Fair!! I'm so glad you got to enjoy it the way we did, that is eat everything in sight. Those pictures of Carter are adorable. Sam tried that bungee-trampoline thing last year in Colorado and loved it. Looks like you had a great time. Only wish we could have been there to enjoy with you.
